//SOUNDS OF ARCHITECTURE

So since march of the femmes arabes we have been brainstorming and conceptualising. Our next “project” as one could refer to it as, will be based on architecture. We will approach this theme in a more experimental manner than femmes arabes , and will then release numerous “soundclips” at once which will range from being more complex in terms of approach yet will still feature bits and pieces that relate to the main idea. Once we’re eventually finished with this project we will upload it and offer an explanation of how we went about in terms of methods, which will hopefully provide a broader spectrum in terms of what it is we are doing or planning to do. As this next “architecture” based maazak project will take some time to complete, we will keep regularly uploading other soundscraps that we will be working on whilst tackling our skyscraper concept architecture.

//MARCH OF THE FEMMES ARABES

So, finally, after three weeks of recording samples with old tape players, mixing bits and pieces of sound together, whilst getting accustomed to various sound programmes, ranging from the most basic to the more professional we have finally developed what we decided to title "March of the Femmes Arabes". This release contains two tracks which we swapped back and forth, thereby responding to what the other created and reinterpreting it. Therefore these two tracks serve as sort of a sound collage that isn't necessarily concept driven, but rather the meanse to determine the maazak identity.
